Recently, AOSpine had invited abstract submissions for the fourth Global Spine Congress. The number of submitted abstracts exceeded the expectations.
The 715 submitted abstracts underlines that the GSC is marked on the agenda of spine surgeons worldwide and the rapid growth trend continues.
The Global Spine Congress will feature an entire Spanish speaking program in parallel to the English one. 105 abstract submitters selected to present their work in Spanish.

The Program Committee composed of 97 AOSpine experts is currently reviewing the submitted abstracts and the high quality abstracts gained entry into the GSC's outstanding scientific program; providing the submitter an ideal chance to present his/her research to hundreds of global spine specialists in Buenos Aires.
Notification of acceptance
Notifications of acceptance or rejection of the abstracts will be sent to the corresponding author of the abstract after November 28, 2014.
The corresponding author receives all correspondence concerning the abstract. The corresponding author is responsible for informing all other co-authors of the status of the abstract.
Registration deadline for abstract presenters
All abstract presenters will be asked to reconfirm their attendance after receiving the notification. If an abstract presenter doesn't reconfirm his/her abstract presentation, register and pay the registration fee before January 12, 2015 his/her abstract will be cancelled.
Presentations of abstracts
The submission of an abstract constitutes a formal commitment by the presenting author to present the abstract (if accepted) orally or as e-poster in the session and the time assigned by the GSC Scientific Program Committee.
For the first time in the Global Spine Congress we will give the possibility to all participants to present their work either in English or in Spanish.
All abstract presenters are automatically entered in the competition of the Abstract Awards. There are two Awards. The winners will be announced on-site. The awards will be sent electronically after the forum.
